INTERNATIONAL TEACHER-post

Each quarter we release an English-language member-magazine "IT-post", (32 pages) which is free for members in Eastern Europe, Asia and developing countries.


The magazine is edited by an international editorial team, but printed in Denmark, with support from the “Ministry of Education´s “Magazine Fund” and “DigiSource”, our print shop.

The annual international meeting

since 2002

2002

the first international IT-post editorial meeting was organized in St. Petersburg, Russia. 

2003

the second international meeting of editors of IT- post was held in Paide, Estonia. 

 

2004

the 3rd international editorial meeting was held in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary. 

 

2005

the 4th meeting was held in Brest, Belarus.

All participants received a certificate for participating in the educational part!

 

 

 

 

From then the meeting was expanded to include both editors of international IT-post as members of local committees and members. 

2006

the meeting of editors and members was held in Samara – by the river Volga – Russia, with a subsequent trip by riverboat to Astrakhan and back. 

 

2007

we met in Lugansk, Ukraine with a program based mainly on children in care (Orphanage), and a week's holiday on the Black Sea coast of Crimea. 

 

The southern coast of Crimea, with beautiful mountains - but not so many beautiful sandy beaches as where we lived! (Jevpateria).

Also we arrange study tours, visits and trips abroad,

with emphasis on the professional view, people, nature and culture. Often with private accommodation for a few days. We have particular visited colleagues in Nepal , Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus, Hungary and the USA. 

The picture is from a visit to Nepal, where we visited "our" 2 schools, which we are supporting with one more teacher in each school.

2009

Baku in Ajerbajdjan was the place to meet.

the meeting was prepared by ITA, Azerbaijan together with the “Intellect School”, Baku.

 

The last week we visited the beautiful mountains of Caucasus and the historical sites.

In the bottom of the valley you can se the high mountains of Russia (Dagestan).

 

 

 

THE ITA-SUPPORT TEAM

Financially we want to support schools and local communities in developing countries.


Right now we are selling knitwear made by the women from the Hoylmo tribe in Nepal. A region where our support fund are paying an extra teacher at two of the village schools.

It seems not easy to sell the jackets etc - so if you are a clever businessman/woman we would like to hear from you.

Price level (jacket) about 40 Euro or 60 US-dollars.

 

 

 

2008

our international annual meeting was prepared closed to Tbilisi in Georgia, with a subsequent week's experiences up in the Caucasus mountains.

But because of the war in Georgia, the destination of the meeting became the village, Fjaltring in Denmark .

2010

our international Annual Meeting will be moved to Asia! To the beautiful country of Kyrgyzstan, - “The Asian Switzerland”!

At first a little week in and around the capital, Bishkek (Schools, university, museums, nature, history, people etc)
